March 23 is the annual National Puppy Day. This event was initiated by animal behaviorist and animal welfare advocate Colleen Paige in 2006. it aims to draw public attention to the problem of the proliferation of puppy breeding grounds , and encourage everyone to post cute photos of puppies on this day, hoping that more people will see the cuteness of dogs, thereby increasing the adoption rate.

There is a saying in China, "Touch the dog's head, and you don't have to worry about everything." Looking at cute and furry animals makes people feel that the world is much better. I believe everyone will feel the same when they see them. Share some cute dog pics with you and hope these make your happy day. They’re so adorable, your heart might just melt! I really like them! How about you!

The First Dog Went Into Space

Laika was the first dog in space and the first Earth creature to orbit. On November 3, 1957, the Laika dog flew into space with the Soviet Union's "Sputnik 2", and unfortunately died of high pressure and temperature within 5 to 7 hours after the flight. Fifty years later, a monument is erected in Moscow to honor the canine "space hero" who gave his life for what is now human space travel.

Why So Happy When Seeing Fluffy Puppies

The current mainstream theory tends to use the "baby icon" effect to explain it. This theory believes that after humans see puppies, the brain will release dopamine and oxytocin. The same or similar substances are released in the brain when people see a baby, or fall in love.

The brain releases these chemicals because we receive visual cues from mammalian babies, such as larger head-to-body ratio, big eyes, round body shape, and soft surfaces. Because human babies are vulnerable long after birth, biological responses that drive us to feel "to care for" and "to protect" them, which is an evolutionary advantage for humans.

And it also means that, whether it's a real puppy or a photo of a furry, wriggly cutie, we're all going to have the psychological emotion of delight.

Beginner's dog raising strategy!

1. Dog Diet List

Choose dog food according to the dog's physical health:

Dogs prone to allergies can choose grain-free food, which is not easy to cause dog allergies.

Afraid of tear marks, choose clear fire containing duck, pear formula, low oil grains, it is best not to have beef, easy to get angry.

If you have bad breath, avoid food containing fish.

For white dogs, choose dog food with a low-oil and low-salt formula, which is not easy to turn yellow in the mouth. It is best to choose baked food that does not spray oil in the process.

Dogs that need to grow can choose dog food with high meat content, with a proportion of more than 65%.

Dogs with a bad stomach can choose grain-free dog food with low crude fiber content.

Freeze-dried √ (contains more nutrients)

Molar stick√ (passing time, grinding teeth)

Canned dog food √ (rich in nutrients and supplemented with water)

Ham sausage × (unidentified additives, too much to picky eaters)

Pet biscuits × (the nutritional value is not high and contains a lot of starch, which is easy to irritate the stomach)

Pet jelly × (there are many sugars, gums, and food attractants, which are easy to damage the stomach)

2. Other nutritional products

Fish oil √ (anti-inflammation, reduce the risk of heart disease, prevent eye diseases, beautify hair and skin care, relieve allergies)

Probiotics √ (Help the dog's gastrointestinal digestion and maintain a healthy state)

Vitamin √ (maintenance nutrition)

Nutrition cream √ (supplement nutrition)

Goat milk powder × (dogs at the age of 7 weeks can start to eat dog food after their teeth are fully grown. Feeding too much goat milk powder is easy to get angry)

Calcium Tablets × (Generally, dogs do not need calcium supplementation, excessive calcium supplementation will cause premature calcification of bones and cartilage, restrict growth or bone deformities, and cause urinary tract and organ diseases)

Hair Explosive Powder × (the amount of dog hair is determined by nature and cannot be increased through food)

Coconut oil× (has no apparent effect and the saturated fat in it is not good for pets)

In addition, you need to pay attention to these things that you must not give dogs! In light cases, the dog's health will be damaged, and in severe cases, it will be fatal!

Foods that dogs cannot eat:

Rice, plain milk, yogurt, garlic, onion, chocolate, grapes, raisins, big bones, avocado, cherries, coffee, raw eggs, strong tea, wine, plums, peppers, macadamia nuts

Dog clothes (dogs who are afraid of the cold can prepare when the temperature drops)

Elizabeth ring (do not need to wear it daily, after the dog's external wound is treated with medicine, wear it to prevent the dog from licking the wound)

Muzzle (for ferocious breeds to wear outside)

Dog crate (can be prepared if needed)

The Benefits of Having a Dog

Dogs are the emotional bond between people, the more people like pets, the more considerate they are.

Dogs make you more attractive to the opposite sex. According to research by the UK's largest dog welfare charity, 60% of people believe that owning a dog can make people more attractive; 85% of people think that people with dogs are more approachable. Women prefer men with Labradors and Golden Retrievers, the survey found.

Owning a dog can prevent heart disease, with dog owners having lower cholesterol and blood pressure levels and fewer heart attacks.

It is scientifically proven that keeping a dog can prolong people’s life. A research team from Uppsala University in Sweden conducted a 12-year follow-up survey on the medical records and pet records of 3.4 million people in Sweden. The data showed that owning a dog can significantly reduce the risk of death from cardiovascular disease. For multi-member households, owning a dog can reduce the risk of death from cardiovascular disease by 15%. For those who live alone, keeping a dog is even more effective. Having a dog can reduce the risk of death from cardiovascular disease by as much as 36%.

The sense of happiness is stronger. After teasing the dog, the level of oxytocin in the human body is significantly increased, the sense of happiness is stronger, and the satisfaction with life is also high.

Dogs can help people reduce the stress of everyday life. Despite the language barrier, the dog has a sincere emotion and is only loyal to the owner, and will always accompany the owner and love the owner forever.

Doing Something With Your Dog

On a weekend with good weather, find a park and stay with TA for a whole afternoon.

Go to a pet store that has a lot of toys and let her pick out the toys herself.

Give the dog a bath, from head to toe, and after an hour or two, you will see her more than ten times more beautiful.

You can take pics with the dog at it’s every stage, which can record the changes of the dog and then becomes a good memory in the future.

Find a day without doing anything, put down the phone, let go of distracting thoughts, spend time with the dog, and choose to lie on the sofa with the dog. Thinking about it, I think it is a very beautiful thing.

Combing the dog's hair every day can not only prevent the hair from knotting, clean up dirty things, but also promote the dog's blood circulation and promote affection.

Today is National Puppy Day, let's say Happy Puppy Day!
